Terms of Service

Kano Analytics — last updated 11 August 2026

These Terms of Service govern use of Kano Analytics ("the App"), an internal analytics dashboard operated by Kano, a women's fashion retailer based in Jakarta, Indonesia. By using Kano Analytics you agree to these terms.

1. Who may use the App

Kano Analytics is an internal business tool. Access is limited to authorised Kano staff who have been issued an account. The App is not offered to the public, has no self-service registration, and is not licensed or resold to anyone outside Kano.

2. What the App does

Kano Analytics connects to a TikTok account belonging to Kano and displays that account's profile information, audience statistics and public post performance alongside Kano's own sales data. The App reads data only. It does not publish, edit, schedule or delete content on TikTok.

3. Connecting a TikTok account

Connecting a TikTok account is done through TikTok's own authorization screen. By connecting an account you confirm that you are authorised to grant access to it on Kano's behalf. Access can be withdrawn at any time using the Disconnect button in Kano Analytics or through TikTok's app permission settings.

4. Acceptable use

When using Kano Analytics you agree not to:

• share your account credentials or allow anyone outside Kano to use the App;
• export or redistribute TikTok data obtained through the App to third parties;
• attempt to access accounts, records or systems you have not been granted access to;
• use the App in any way that breaches TikTok's Terms of Service, Developer Terms or Community Guidelines, or any applicable law.

5. TikTok's own terms

Data shown in Kano Analytics is retrieved from TikTok through TikTok's official APIs. Use of that data remains subject to TikTok's terms and policies. Kano Analytics is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok or ByteDance.

6. Data and privacy

How Kano Analytics handles data, including what is retrieved from TikTok, how long it is kept and how it is deleted, is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Availability

Kano Analytics is provided on an "as is" basis for internal use. Kano does not guarantee that the App will be available without interruption or that data retrieved from TikTok will always be complete or current, since it depends on the availability of TikTok's APIs. Kano may modify, suspend or discontinue the App at any time.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Kano is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of Kano Analytics, including any business decision made on the basis of data displayed in the App.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with the date it took effect.
